4 Discs just seemed to be right for my bike and style of riding. I like more low end throttle response and I felt it was there with 4. There is no sign of struggle to get to 80+ like there was with the stock muffler. Even on hills, or against headwinds at 65 there is plenty of twist left on the throttle, I've never run it to the rev limited in 5th, not comfortable much over 65 and realy like to putz between 55-60. Also like the slower exhaust note, at 65+ is begins to sound kinds 2 cycley. Tunnels are a real hoot now!
If you visited the torque vs HP discussion, I'm one who like the twisting effort vs lots of HP. Lets face it with 40 cu.in. we should use it like it was meant to be. Max
